Zenshoji no Kikuzakura (Chrysanthemum Cherry Blossom)

This is a rare breed of mountain cherry tree with flowers resembling chrysanthemums (binomial name: Zenshoji Kikuzakura), and is the most common type of chrysanthemum flower in the prefecture.
With a presumed lifespan of 500 years, they have around 250 petals on a single flower, and in full bloom, they form spheres of roughly 2cm in diameter.
The best time to go is around Golden Week in May.
